Engine 16-1 is a 2014 Rosenbauer Commander Type 1 pumper that is powered by a Cummins 450 HP diesel engine. It has a 1,500 GPM Rosenbauer PTO Midship pump with a 1,000 gallon water tank and 50 gallons of firefighting foam. Engine 16-1 serves as our front-line fire suppression and EMS unit at Station 16-1; it also carries a complement of rescue equipment including auto extrication tools, rope rescue systems, and water rescue equipment.
